"Few books are as abused by its own readers as the Holy Bible. Without proper training and understanding, our interpretation and application of the bible could be tantamount to abuse of scriptures, and misdirection of a generation. It should concern us that a staggering percentage of churches are pastored by people who never had any form of formal theological education. Mistaking the anointing as a substitute for training undermines 2 Timothy 2:15 and the entirety of Psalm 119. Ministers, workers, members of a the local church and the body of Christ at large, especially those charged to feed the flock, need to watchout for "ignorance of ignorance," which is worse than ignorance itself. A sound structured biblical education is an invaluable basic asset for pastors and prospective leaders.
